B & R Auto Wrecking Adds Another Location
B & R Auto Wrecking, a locally-owned auto recycling business, has acquired Glenwood Foreign Auto Parts, Brian Perlenfein, senior business advisor announced. This well-respected and successful facility operates on nearly eight acres in Creswell, Ore. Glenwood Foreign Auto Parts officially become part of the B & R Auto Wrecking (www.autowrecking.com) family on November 17, 2014.
Perlenfein explained that B & R Auto Wrecking will keep many of the Glenwood Foreign Auto Parts’ current employees and anticipates having around 20 employees on staff, once the facility is at capacity. Perlenfein said, “We are very humbled and honored to take over such a well-liked and respected operation in Glenwood Foreign Auto Parts. The Waldron family has done a fantastic job for years, not just for their own business but also for the auto recycling industry as a whole.”
B & R Auto Wrecking will process foreign and domestic cars and trucks at this facility, and hold 1,000 vehicles. “We have installed our inventory management system in order to link each store together, so that no matter which B & R is called upon, the parts ordering process can be completed,” Perlenfein said. “With over 1 million parts in stock, it is important to be able to quickly inform the customer how soon they can have the part, the condition of the part, and the price of the part. We understand cycle time is so important to the customer, and having another facility with nearly 30,000 square-feet of warehouse will help us and our customers continue to be successful.”
Locally owned since 1960, B & R Auto Wrecking has 14 locations in Oregon, Washington and Nevada. B & R Auto Wrecking is an ARA Gold Seal member.
