Automakers Offer Latest Training At NACE | CARS 2015
Automotive technology has grown by leaps and bounds over the last decade. New cars are lighter, stronger, more fuel-efficient and filled with the latest technology - like Wi-Fi and GPS. And, with these advances comes new techniques to fix them and automakers want to make sure repairers have the information they need.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Ford Motor Company, General Motors (GM), American Honda Motor Company, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Toyota USA and Volkswagen of America, Inc. will provide training in Detroit on July 21 - 25, 2015 at the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE). The collision, service repair and insurance markets will gain insight on the latest in carbon fiber, high-strength steel and aluminum repair, as well as service-ready information and telematics.
“The support and participation of the car manufacturers is a significant and a historical development. Although they’ve provided training in the past, the industry has never experienced so many classes being introduced for the first time at one event. Service and repair professionals will benefit from attending, learning directly from the car manufacturers on how to repair the cars of today and tomorrow,” said Dan Risley, ASA President & Executive Director.
