PAM’s Auto Earns NSF Distributor And Recycling Certifications

NSF International, a global organization with more than 70 years of independent product testing, auditing and certification expertise, has issued its first automotive recycler certification to PAM’s Auto, located in St. Cloud, Minn. PAM’s Auto met all requirements for NSF International automotive recycler certification including traceability, labeling and grading.

Cunningham Brothers Auto Parts Named A GM Supplier Of The Year

The Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) announced that ARA member facility Cunningham Brothers Auto Parts, in Rustburg, Va. (www.cunningham-brothers.com), was recently named a GM Supplier of the Year by General Motors. The Cunningham family has been direct members of ARA for more than 25 years. This is the second time Cunningham Brothers has received the award.

Speedemissions Acquires Auto Recycling of Montgomery

Speedemissions, Inc. announced that it has closed an asset purchase agreement with Auto Recycling of Montgomery (ARM). The purchase includes the assets of ARM including land, buildings, equipment and inventory. ARM, an Alabama-based auto recycling facility, ceased operations in June 2014.

The Locator Celebrates 60 Years In Business

The Locator is proud to celebrate 60 years in business this month. The business was founded by John Holmes in 1957 in Whiting, Iowa. The business grew from an auto salvage pamphlet, the Salvage Locator, to The Parts Locator, a monthly magazine that publishes part listings auto and truck dismantling yards across the country.
