The tributes keep coming for Jim Seamans, as he continues gaining recognition for his contributions to the auto recycling industry.

The Florida Auto Dismantlers & Recyclers Association (FADRA.org) awarded Seamans the first-ever FADRA lifetime achievement award during its convention this past July. Seamans has been a FADRA and ARA member throughout his career.

"He encouraged yards to clean up and get organized. He visited hundreds of yards soliciting Hollander manuals, which put him in front of a lot of owners," said Bill Weaver, AutoCycle, LLC, Danville, Va. (AutoCycleParts.com).

Seamans' career began in Pelham, N.H. in 1961. He has been working at Jim's Auto Salvage, Inc. (JimsAuto.com) in Sebring, Fla., since 1997.
