FEMCO Adds Two New Repair Facilities
Femco Holdings, LLC announces two new locations, adding to the expanding Femco family of machine and repair shops nationwide.
In Bismarck, N.D., Spencer Harris will service the rapidly expanding shale drilling efforts in the Bakken formation with field service, emergency repair, custom manufacturing solutions and equipment parts sales. This new facility will be led by David Polsfuss, who has been named Vice President of Operations, North Dakota.
“This expansion was extremely critical for us as our customers were requesting our support in the region,” said Femco President and CEO Dan Rondeau.
On the west coast, Femco Holdings has acquired Precision Machine & Welding, Inc. of Olivehurst, Calif. Femco Precision Machine & Welding brings years of experience in the scrap and recycling industry, aggregate and heavy equipment segments. It is known for top quality work and outstanding customer service. The facility will retain its current staff, including founder Larry Potter Jr. as the VP of Operations, California.
“The partnership with Femco holdings will help us expand our capabilities so we can provide additional services to our current customers and also allow us to expand into other market segments,” stated Potter. “I view this as a win-win for everyone.”
According to management, Femco’s aggressive expansion efforts position the company to better service customers on a national level. The Bismarck, N.D. and Olivehurst, Calif. facilities join two others in Punxsutawney, Pa. and Gladewater, Texas.
