CCC ONE Adds Procedure Data For 2015 Ford F-150

The automotive industry has been gearing up for the 2015 Ford F-150 since the all new, all-aluminum, model was showcased at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. It just rolled off the line in November 2014, but with its new design - consisting of lightweight aluminum in both the body and bed - repairing this truck will require new and special repair procedures.

Automakers Not Ready For Hackers

Vehicles are becoming more and more complex as automakers add wireless features to them. But, a new report by Sen. Edward Markey D-Mass., states that those technically-advanced vehicles aren’t safe from cyber threats. Hackers can possibly take control of these vehicles or steal personal data, according to an analysis of the information given by manufacturers to Sen. Markey.

ARA Responds To CNN Report On Recycled Parts

CNN recently aired a story on Anderson Cooper 360 about insurance companies that push cheap and dangerous repairs on consumers. Recycled or used auto parts and aftermarket parts were continually mentioned in the piece as unsafe.
