HollanderParts.com Now Live
HollanderParts.com is now open for business. Hollander Parts.com is an online parts search powered by Hollander, Inc., based in Plymouth, Minn. and part of Solera Holdings, Inc., and its network of 157 million parts in its EDEN database. The company announced its plans to launch the site in August 2012.
The site is now completely up and running. It is geared towards collision, mechanical and do-it-yourselfer repairers. The site offers users free searches for parts by year, make and model or by VIN. Sellers can also be located by searching by name, city and state or zip code.
One of the site’s greatest features is its e-commerce capabilities. Users can search and place their recycled part purchases in the site’s shopping cart. Hollander will host the marketplace and upon checkout, the orders will be submitted directly to the auto recyclers.
The recycler will process the order, package the part and ship it to the buyer. HollanderParts.com will also utilize a live chat function to give consumers the total online buying experience - no phone calls to the recycler is needed.
Hollander has been working on the development of HollanderParts.com for the past two years.
The company is holding an International Innovation Summit in Minneapolis, Minn. on Aug. 21 - 23 that will focus on learning, networking and business building. It will include 25 informative sessions.
