Paul D'Adamo runs a successful business at Bill's Auto Parts. But it's his focus
on the environment that truly distinguishes him.
D'Adamo received a conservation award in 2006 for his efforts to help pass legislation
on the collection of mercury switches in Rhode Island.
"We had to go to the state house, meet with the senators and representatives," noted
Rene Turcotte of K & R Auto Salvage, Inc. who serves on the ARA-RI board
with D'Adamo, association president.
"Everything Paul does is with an environmental focus," agreed Joe Wright
of The Connection. "The business has a new infrastructure, all with an eye
to be as environmentally-friendly as possible. He's a good steward of environmental
resources."
